Hello! I'm Michael Craft. That's me in the picture over there, or down below if you're mobile. You can't see it, but I'm wearing a Cincinnati Red's shirt. I live in Dayton, OH and I'm a graduate
of Ohio University with a degree in Marketing.
I currently work in the pharmaceutical industry in R&D formulations. This is a great job. I get to see what drugs look like before they become tablets and capsules.
Some of my all time favorite books include Fahrenheit 451, The Jungle, and 1984. I love The Lord of The Rings, including The Silmarillion. The stories in The Silmarillion are amazing. I own the extended version Lord of The Rings on DVD. Three hours wasn't long enough for me.
One of my all time favorite reads, one that you really never hear about, is The Tripods Trilogy by John Christopher! The White Mountains, The City of Gold and Lead, and The Pool of Fire. This Post-Apocalyptic story is frightening, and the "happy" ending is brilliant. I dream of the day where these books are movies, but I might have to keep dreaming. As far as modern authors, David Mitchell and Cormac McCarthy are two of my favorites.
In my limited free time, I enjoy playing the acoustic guitar and working on a new song. And when I can, a lazy afternoon watching golf is the next best thing to playing golf.
